Alltech announced as sponsor of Nutrition & Feeding session at BSAS Equine Conference 2025

The British Society of Animal Science (BSAS) is delighted to announce that Alltech will sponsor the “Nutrition & Feeding: Feeding Horses in the Future” session at the BSAS Equine Conference 2025, taking place 21-22 November at the MacDonald Burlington Hotel, Birmingham.

The two-day conference will bring together leading voices in equine science — from researchers and veterinarians to nutritionists, trainers, riders and industry leaders — to explore the latest innovations shaping the future of horse health, welfare and performance.

Day 1 will feature the latest scientific developments across equine nutrition, welfare, genetics and performance, while Day 2 is dedicated to horse owners, riders and para-professionals, offering evidence-based advice and take-home strategies to improve everyday care and management.

The Nutrition & Feeding session sponsored by Alltech will address one of the sector’s most pressing challenges: how to meet the nutritional needs of horses in a rapidly changing environment.

At Alltech’s Equine Division, cutting-edge science and a deep understanding of the horse industry come together to deliver customer-focused solutions. Working with equine feed and supplement brands worldwide, Alltech creates premium, research-based formulations that support digestive efficiency, immune resilience, joint mobility and balanced metabolism — empowering horses to thrive at every stage of life.

The sponsorship is especially fitting given that Dr Helen Warren, President of BSAS and a key member of the organising committee, also works with Alltech. Her dual role reflects the shared commitment to advancing equine science and translating research into practical solutions for the industry.

“The BSAS Equine Conference is where science meets the stable yard,” said Dr Helen Warren, President of BSAS. “It’s about translating cutting-edge research into practical impact for horses, riders, and the whole industry. Alltech’s sponsorship of this session underscores the importance of equine nutrition in shaping the future of horse care and management.”
