Maggie has spent considerable time working within the animal and food environments and has a family background in farming. She has successfully developed new strategies to sustainably grow organisations. Maggie, working with Trustees, looks to develop the future strategy of BSAS, contributing to the future vibrancy and success of the organisation and wider animal science environment.

Sinead Lynch serves as the Communications Manager for BSAS, playing a key role in enhancing the Society's profile, expanding its outreach, and strengthening its engagement with key stakeholders and members. Sinead is responsible for media relations as well as internal and external communications and manages multiple communication platforms, oversees content creation, and supports the Society's goals of advancing animal science research and education. Beyond her strategic communications role, Sinead actively contributes to BSAS’s event planning and community-building efforts, promoting knowledge-sharing and collaboration.
