Programme and Publications Committee
The Programme Committee spends much of its time organising and overseeing the BSAS Annual Conference currently held each Spring in York. It also has some responsibility for the occasional meetings (small conferences) that BSAS organise in the UK and overseas. It meets twice a year; once jointly with the Technical and Ethical Committee in May and then again in November where it reviews all the summaries submitted to the Annual Conference. As well as a chairperson and secretary it has a wide range of members with specific scientific expertise that enables the review of all topics.
