BSAS is run by several committees. Dates of the meetings and a summary of the topics discussed are found on the event calendar.
BSAS occasional meetings/workshops/conferences offer scientists interested in specific topics an opportunity to listen to and interact with top scientists and practitioners in their area/discipline. These shorter conferences are held at a variety of venues in UK, Ireland and Europe. There is a dedicated meeting on Tropical Agriculture held overseas every four years.
