BSAS Early Career Award
NEW AWARD
This scholarship is aimed at providing opportunities for those in the early part of academic career. The award is to be used for specific short research programme and/or training opportunity in the UK or overseas, with a new academic/industrial partner (i.e., help support a new partnership rather than a piece of work with a current partner on current organisation). it may also be used to part fund projects, but in these instances clear indications and assurances of the alternative funds need to be provided. There are no specific categories so you may apply for funds to undertake any relevant animal science tour, study or research programme.
The funding available is dependent upon the length of the visit. Applicants may request:
- up to of £2,000 for projects up to 6 weeks
- up to of £3,000 for projects up to 3 months
- up to of £5,000 for projects up to 6 months
