Strategy and Innovation Committee

Formerly known as the Technical and Ethical Committee, this is the ideas and development committee of the Society. As well as reviewing ethical matters it deals with many of the issues facing BSAS and the animal science industry. It is responsible for responding to all consultation documents, liaising with bioscience organisations such as the Institute of Biology, Federation of BioSciences and the European Association of Animal Production. It deals with PR, press relations, the BSAS website and is the initial point of contact for new ideas for conferences and workshops. It also reviews all applications for prizes, scholarships and awards.
