Become a Member of BSAS

BSAS membership information and application form

Membership of the Society is on an individual basis only.

The annual subscription entitles members to :

  • Access to the online version of Animal Science and the new journal, Animal;  
  • discounts at conferences;
  • regular newsletters and e-mail updates;
  • access to scientific information and the leading scientists involved in animal science;
  • support from the BSAS office and;
  • membership of a premier scientific organisation with networks for career and job opprtunities.

The annual subscription runs from 1 January - 31 December each year.

  • Full member £60.00 sterling (£105.00 sterling for printed version of journal).  In the UK the subscription is tax deductable. 
  • Reduced subscription for post-graduate/retired members £30.00 sterling (£75.00 sterling for printed version of journal) 
  • Undergraduates - free membership package
  • Members can opt for the on-line version of the journal only or the printed version of the journal which also includes access on-line.
